Doug Morris entered financial services the old-fashioned way—knocking on doors with Edward Jones, meeting families face-to-face, and helping them understand their money with honesty and clarity. In 2000, he founded Tax Force®, a locally owned tax and accounting firm built around one simple principle: give people accurate numbers, straightforward guidance, and help them keep more of what they earn. Growing up around that work, Tristan saw firsthand how confusing the financial world could be— taxes in one place, retirement in another, insurance somewhere else—with nobody coordinating the big picture.
But Tristan’s path into finance started long before licenses or designations. In second grade, he began selling hand-drawn cartoons (thanks to his brother Landon) for ice-cream money at school. That early project lit a spark: you can create something, share it, and make someone’s day a little better—and get paid for the value you bring.
During college at Louisiana State University, Tristan earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Financial Analysis, while continuing to build and create. He launched Syntraverse, a consulting concept that evolved into a streetwear brand called LotScoreDude, where he designed, marketed, and sold merchandise through social media and live events. At the same time, he worked in fine dining and quickly became one of the top sales performers—learning that business always comes down to people, trust, and service.
After LSU, Tristan went on to work in several high-performance environments—logistics, B2B sales, consulting, roofing, and solar—consistently rising to the top through discipline, communication, and a focus on solving problems, not just selling products.
Over time, a clear pattern emerged: most families and business owners weren’t failing because they lacked work ethic. They were struggling because their financial world wasn’t coordinated. Taxes, insurance, and retirement were treated as separate conversations instead of one unified plan.
That insight led Tristan to formally enter the world of wealth strategy—joining Doug and combining real tax expertise with modern planning tools, technology, and communication. Together, they built what clients now know as The Bridge Strategy™—a forward-thinking planning process that connects tax reduction, retirement income design, properly structured life insurance, family and business protection, and legacy planning into one clear, coordinated blueprint.
Today, Tristan leads the strategy and design work—bringing a modern, client-first approach to an industry often stuck decades in the past—while Doug brings the depth of 25+ years of tax and accounting experience.
Their shared mission is simple: make wealth planning clear, compliant, and powerful—so people can finally understand how their money works, and build something that lasts.
